Send flowers to the service of Mrs. Jamia Regina Harris
Jamia was my very first friend in Kindergarten. We stayed close throughout our first years at school and then reconnected in high school. She was always the most kindhearted person I knew. To this day, I can hear her voice and laugh. We lost touch when she moved away from Cocoa. My sympathies to the family on her passing. She will be missed but I will always hold dear those early childhood memories.
Praying for the families, that God will bless you today and the days to come. We have many fond memories of Jamia, especially growing up in Mt. Moriah AME Church. Gene and Cora Knighton
God-mother, I really wish I could be there with you and Jamye, but my heart and prayers are with you. Jamia was the best big sister I could ask for. Even in recent months, she would inspire me with her faith in God. No matter what, she always had the best and biggest smile and would always be concerned about others. There would be times where I would call to check on her, and she would some how switch the conversation to talking about me and my family. With out a shadow of a doubt, she is in the presence of the Lord right now, and we can celebrate the fact that we will see her again. I love you and Jamye with all of my heart and I pray the peace of God rest upon you today and forever more. We love you!! David, Erica, David K., and Jaliyah Bryant.
Lonnie and Family, we know that your loss is great, but Heaven has gained another Angel. Be strong and encouraged, God has said in His word that He will not leave us comfortless. May the peace that only God can give, guide you during this trying time. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the called according to his purpose. For we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. We love you, Marian Jackson and family
When my heart is heavy and my memories of Jamia flood my presence, this word from God comes over me. From Proverbs 31:26-31...26She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." 30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Jamia wear your crown as a dedicated loving servant, take your rest and know we are humbled by your faithfulness. As I reflex on our childhood memories at Mt Moriah you always kept an eye out for Jamye and I. Thank you for your big sister protection and love. Mrs. Ford and Jamye remember I am only a phone call away. Peace and blessings! Burgandi & Family 💜💜
