Obituary For Mrs. Mila Hills
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mila Hills.
On behalf of the staff and management of Strong & Jones Funeral Home, we would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Mila Hills.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Mt. Trial Primitive Baptist Church with burial at Buckhorn Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Florida.
Mila was a devoted homemaker and a retired substitute teacher for Wakulla County Schools.
She enjoyed giving her time and talent to many organizations, such as, Wakulla County Elections, Big Bend Hospice, Wakulla County Academic Boosters, Cancer Society, Order of the Eastern Star, Heroines of Jericho, Joshua Lodge, Davis Court, Wakulla County Usher Board, Christian Co-workers, Old West Florida Finance Committee, Zion Hill Church, Finance Secretary, and Founder of the Green Family Reunion.
Survivors include her children: Sonia Nelson, Karen Bradham and Kenneth Hills (Kecia); seven grandchildren, Brianna Nelson, Lakeshia Fulton, Alfred Nelson, Jr.,(Tiffany), Timothy Nelson (Krystal), Adrienne Turner (Anthony), Kenneth Hills, Jr. and Kennedi Hills; two great-grandchildren, Jakia Russell and Asher Turner.
Along with her parents, Mila was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Hills; daughter, Arnetta Fulton; and grandson, Micah Fulton.
