Kraven D. Gavin, 42, transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, November 4, 2022. Funeral service will be 2 P.M SUNDAY, November 13, 2022 at Restoration Place Ministries, 3881 North Monroe St. with burial at Buckhorn Cemetery in Sopchoppy, FL. Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2022 and from 12 (Noon) to 5 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. She was a graduate of Florida State University. She dedicated her entire professional life’s work to early childhood education and was passionate advocate for education. She was the Founder and Director of Stepping Stone Learning Academy. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Kezia Sharpe and Aanyah Kendrick; son, Damashjai Kendrick; her father, Donald Gavin (Leila); stepfather, Moses Gay; stepmother, Marisa Gavin; three grandchildren, Legacy and Legend Fryson and Loyalty Johnson; two brothers, Dionte Gavin and Prentice Harvey; two stepbrothers, Edward Atkins and Emanuel Douglas; stepsister: Candice Washington (Sheffield) and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Cassandra Gay.
