It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Shirley Ann Hill.

Shirley Ann Hill passed away on Mother's Day Sunday, May 10, 2026 after a battle with cancer. Ann was a joy filled person with a deep faith and trust in the Lord. Shirley was a hardworking woman who dedicated her life to serving others. Over the years, she worked in many roles, including at Country Counter Shell, Dog It All, the Federal Courthouse, and KUMC. Her work was never just a job—it was an extension of who she was: dependable, caring, and committed. Ann believed in family gatherings celebrating together for all occasions.

Ann leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Alexander Leroy Hill whom she loved dearly; six children, Anitra, Denitrice, Alexander Jr., Stephanie (Jeris), Lewis and Harold all of Tallahassee, FL.; 15 grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.

The service to celebrate Ann's life will be 12:00 (Noon) Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Ann's home church, Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church at 1478 Chaires Cross Road.
