Aaron Christopher Owens, 37, of Ithaca, NY, entered eternal rest on 31 May 2021 at Richmond University Medical Center.
He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Christel Owens; brother, Geoffrey Owens; sister, Adrienne Owens; nephew, Maurice Owens; stepmother, Brenda Gibson; stepsister, Maya Gibson; stepbrothers, Tim Gibson (Nicole) and Tyler Melvin; uncles, Samuel James Owens (Daffie), Ernest Bennett, Hubert Lee Williamson Jr., and Robert Lee Williamson (Claire); Godmother, Patricia Beasley and a host of cousins. He was cherished and loved by both family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Summerville and Boykin Mortuary Chapel, 65 N. Belgrade Avenue, Garland, NC. Graveside Service/Interment will be held at Roseboro Cemetery, Snow Hill, NC at 2:00 p.m. Elder Jacqueline Howard, will officiate. Professional services entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Homes, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553.
