Mrs. Shirley Washington Whitted, age 82 of 414 Billtown Road, Rose Hill, NC, departed this life on January 17, 2021.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Hayes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by: sons, Reverend Anthony (Tony) Whitted and Marible O. Washington; daughters, Delphine Whitted-Melvin and Tonya Washington-Stokes; brother, Willie M. Washington; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Summerville-Boykin Mortuary, Inc., Garland, NC; the family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 20201 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Please follow social distancing at the service and masks are required.
