Sending my heartfelt condolences to the Clifton family. I am April Lee, I went to elementary school with Shonda and was in the wedding of Shonda's parents and it was such a lovely experience. Mr. Freddie Clifton was always so sweet and welcoming and I appreciated his spirit. I am keeping the Clifton family in my thoughts and prayers.

To Celeste and family. We were saddened to hear of the loss of our classmate Freddie Jr. We know that this is a difficult time for you and your family. I was Freddie's dental hygienist for the last 4 years. I truly enjoyed seeing him and taking care of him when he came into the office. I will miss him a lot. Prayers for his family 🙏

We are praying for all of you at this time. I met Freddie and Celeste in 1991 when Clint and I moved to Charleston. OMG we all became instant friends with Levi too. So these years have been wonderful, we have watched our families grow into adulthood. What a blessing. Love will continue to carry us through.

I will miss the jokes I shared with my Deacon. Like the one time in the hospital he brought me some flour and not flowers. I in return brought him a stuffed chicken. The laughs were heartfelt. I had the opportunity to speak online directly with Shanda's father, together with children in Japan and the students of Shonan Hokulea Gakuen.

He was the father who raised Shanda, whom everyone really loves.

I heard that he had been also lived on base in Japan.

From far away in Japan, we sincerely pray for his soul to rest in peace.
