I was Keith's 5th grade teacher at Matilda Harris Elementary. His personality and infectious smile is something I remember about him. He was definitely the life of my classroom. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy young man. 🕊️

Wow... I guess the time has really come to say our last goodbyes. You were such a big part of my life. We taught each other so much. I know toward the end we didn't talk as much as I wanted, but please believe— from the moment I met you, you were a shining light.

Your smile was infectious, your eyes mesmerizing, and your stories were the kind nobody else would ever believe. Being a mother to you in West Virginia, when no one else would step in, was an honor. I looked out for you, made sure you were cared for, and you became family.

Your West Virginia family misses you so much. Our hearts are breaking that this happened. I'm going to cherish every moment and every memory we shared. Thank you for coming into our lives. Thank you for being family. And thank you for allowing me to take on the role of your drag mother.
