Allegra was born on July 9, 1965, to her belated parents, Charles Thomas Muphy and Sadie Marie Murphy, in Riverside, CA. She confessed Christ at an early age and lived a life grounded in compassion, humility, and unwavering belief in God’s promises.
Allegra was honorable discharged from the United States Army after 8 years of service and continued her journey in education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science and Master of Science in Applied Computer Science at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. Allegra met her soul mate and love of her life Gregory S. Rose in 1988 in Phenix City, AL where they quickly became attached to one another. They soon married and happily celebrated their 38th anniversary of marriage this month. When not working, Allegra had a flair for culinary creativity and loved to try new healthy recipes to gratify her family. She enjoyed hosting dinners for her extended family and cherished her two grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from shopping for and spending time with Alora and Gabriel.
Allegra leaves behind her beloved husband, Gregory Rose; one son, Christian M. Rose (Christiana Hall); two loving grandchildren, Alora Rose, and Gabriel Rose; two older brothers, Charles Murphy and Anthony Murphy of Moreno Valley, CA; two older sisters, Angela Jackson, Austin Texas, Patricia Hughes, Riverside, CA; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and acquaintances who all will miss her tremendously. Allegra never complained or asked, ‘why me’ but rather ‘why not me’. She was a soldier who endured to the end – ‘In God’s Hands’.
Dear Family Allegra will always be remembered for the person she was. Her amazing personality lives on. She was an amazing smart and thoughtful person. It was a privilege and honor to work with her during her career. May here memories bring peace. She will be missed. Velma Jackson. Fort Mitchell, AL

Dear Greg, Chris, and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Allegra's passing. Even though it's been some time since we last connected, I will never forget her. We had such great conversations, she had the warmest smile, gave the best hugs, and had such a loving spirit. She was truly one of the most genuine people I have ever met. The last time I saw her, we talked as though we spoke every day, even though it had been years. I will always cherish our time together. I will truly miss her, and I pray that God strengthens and keeps you all during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy, Cheryl Watson

Allegra was like a big sister. We worked together over the past three years, and over the last year and a half we grew even closer, working more independently as a team. The time we shared meant so much to me, and I will deeply miss her guidance, support, and presence.
Allegra left a lasting impression on my heart and on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will never be forgotten.
