Annie Mae confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church, Holy Trinity Alabama.
Annie Mae was a pillar of strength and loved in both her family and her church community. As a faithful usher and a proud member of the church kitchen commitee, she served with dedication, always making sure things were done right. Known for her blunt honesty and sharp sense of humor, she could make you laugh and tell you the truth all in the same breath. Beneath her tough but funny exterior was a deeply loving heart that welcomed everyone and gave selflessly. Her presence lit up every room she entered, and her legacy of love, laughter, and service will live on in all who knew her.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Charlie Horace, three daughters, Doris Ford (Jeffery), Tracy Ford, Josephine Horace-Jackson (D. Wiley) and three sons,
Steven Ford (Jackie), Kenneth James (Conda), and Gregory James; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers along with a host of other family and friends.
