Annie Ruth Scott, 73, passed on Friday December 19, 2025 in Salem, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. John L. Johnson officiating. Burial to follow in Scott Cemetery, Crawford, AL. Public viewing is 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Ms. Annie Ruth Scott, 73, of Crawford, AL entered eternal peace on Friday, December 19, 2025, at her home. Ruth was born March 28, 1952, daughter of the late PJ Scott and Annie Lee Luke Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny, JC, Nathan, & James Scott; sisters, Sadie Scott & Mary Huguley and daughter, Cynthia Scott.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Terrell (Lekeya) and Timothy Scott both of Columbus, Ga; sister, Rosie Williams of Salem, Alabama, nine grandkids, Dyeashia (Derrick) Moore, Deric Scott, Cu’Darion Long all of Phenix City, AL, Jadarius Scott, Alexis Scott, Daequwan Scott, Deontae Scott, Taquarius Scott, and Devin Hardnett all of Columbus, GA and a host of great grandkids, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
