Mr. Anthony Bennett, 60, of Phenix City, AL passed Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Columbus, GA. Phenix City, Alabama.
Mr. Bennett was born February 23, 1961 in Landstuhl, Germany to the late Eva Robinson King and Arthur “Bud” Bennett, Sr. He was a member of the Phenix City West Congregation of Jehovah Witness. He was a 1979 graduate of Central High School and was employed with Cobb Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, AL for many years and recently with Kia Manufacturing for 12 years. Tony loved spending time and traveling with his wife, Penny and their two sons, TJ and Tori. He enjoyed posting the various samplings of local cuisine.
Anthony was preceded in death by his daddy, KS King, Sr., his wife, Majorie King; brothers, Gregory T. Battle and Kissimmee King, Jr.; grandparents, Emmitt (Ocie) Cook, Lessie Bennett, Edmond Robinson and Lucius (L.F.) Fortson.
Survivors include his wife of more than 35 years, Penny Bennett; two sons, Anthony D. “TJ” Bennett, Jr. and Tori Bennett; brothers, Arthur D. (Erman) Bennett Jr., Emmitt F. (Donna) Bennett, Santavious Bennett, Lester Bennett and Leslie Bennett; sisters, Dorothy B. (Simon) Hill, Elaine (Frank) Taylor and Ann Fasion; sisters~in~law, Isie (Urelles) Finley, Mary Rodgers, Connie King and Carol F. Battle; brothers~in~law, Stephenson “Bubba C” (Martha) LaGrand, Willie (Rosie) Lagrand and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends and numerous brothers and sisters in the Christian congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
There will be a private interment held Saturday, May 1st, 2021.
