Mrs. Arride Lampkin, 82, of Columbus, GA passed Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Thursday, July 21, 2022 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Veron McLeod, officiating. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Columbus, GA. Visitation is Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Mrs. Arride Lampkin affectionately known as "Tee" was born January 7, 1940 in Russell County, AL to the late Clem Grady and the late Lula Coleman.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age and joined Canaan African Methodist Episcopal Church. She received her education in the Russell County School System and was a homemaker who loved spending time helping her family.
She was married to Jimmy Lampkin and to that union one daughter was born, Bertina Lampkin.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Minnie Coleman Majors; one brother, Robert Coleman and one great granddaughter, Jordan Bellamy.
Memories of Arride "Tee" Lampkin will always be engraved in the hearts of her daughter, Bertina (Willie B.) Carnes of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Renita (Dexter) Mabry of Columbus, GA, and Stanley (Yolanda) Bellamy of Kennesaw, GA; step grandchildren, Daveta Phillips, Amanda (Jeff) Holloway, Pamela Davis, Kristin (Joseph) Ogletree all of Phenix City, AL and Andrew Carnes of Ray City, GA; three great grandchildren, JaMarius Jones, Kayla and Justin Bellamy; two sisters, Hattie Tables of Columbus, GA and Renner Mercer of Salem, AL and a host of numerous caring nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
