Mr. Bennie L. Epps, 72, of Phenix City, AL passed December 28, 2022 in Columbus, GA

Graveside service to be held at 12 noon EST, Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Greater St. John Baptist Church, Crawford , AL. with Rev. Eddie C. Johnson, officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Mr. Bennie L. Epps was born April 14, 1950 in Russell County, AL to the late Tommie C. Epps, Sr. and the late Beulah M. Jackson Epps. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was formerly employed at Fieldcrest, Colonial Baking Company and Dolly Madison. Having a life long love of all things automotive, Ben enjoyed tinkering with and repairing all types of automobiles.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents a brother, Thomas L. Epps.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sallie M. Epps; son, Brian J. Epps, Phenix City, AL; brothers, Tommy C. Epps, Jr. and Curtis L. Epps, Seale, AL; sisters, Joann Epps, Seale, AL and Janice Epps, Houston, TX; uncles, Arthur Epps (Cattie) and Robert Epps (Shirley); aunts, Alberta McMurray and Lillie Bunn; brother in law, James Myles (Joann);and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
