Bernice Jones-Williams, 83, of Phenix City, AL passed on Wednesday, December 26, 2023 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Greater St. John Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher Davis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the St. Paul C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Crawford, AL. Public visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2-5 p.m EST.
Ms. Bernice Jones Williams was born October 2, 1940, in Opelika, AL. She was the daughter of the late George Jones and the late Mandy Williams Jones. She departed this life late Tuesday evening, December 26, 2023 at her residence.
Ms. Williams accepted Christ in the earlier years of her life. As a member of the Greater of the Greater St. John MBC she served as a member of the Missionary and Matrons Society.She was employed by Swift Mill as a machine operator until she retired.
Ms. Williams was proceeded in death by her three brothers and five sisters.She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a devoted special friend Mr. Charlie Morgan.
