Obituary For Beverly Taylor
Mrs. Beverly Taylor, 69, passed on August 10, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. EST on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in the C.T Chapel Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Min. Jeremiah Castile, officiating. Burial to follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public visitation is 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Mrs. Beverly Lanett Taylor was born October 29, 1954 to the late Joseph and Mary Castille. She was a homemaker for her own home and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
On the evening of August 10, 2024, an angel came into her room. God saw that she had gotten tired and lifted her away from this world of pain and sorrow to a place of eternal rest.
Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Taylor, a daughter, Angela Taylor Rice, five siblings, Dwight Castille, Forest Castille, Edna Castille, Jacqueline Castille and Joseph Castille, Jr.
She leaves to cherish precious memories to two daughters, Valencia (Sedrick) Ivey and Lakeisha Taylor (Chris); two sons, Milton Taylor and Anthony Taylor; 11 grandchildren, Jimre Woods, Alysa (David) Overstreet, Jmauri Taylor, Jaidyn Taylor, Kaisyn Taylor, Adrienne Shavers, Alycia Shavers, Demarcus Rice, Jr., Devin Rice, Niamey Taylor, Aquinnah Taylor; one sister, Thyra Williams (John); two brothers, Jeremiah (Jean) Castille and Antonio Castille; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs Taylor (Fruit Cake) was our first acquaintance when we first moved to Phenix City. She was a good loving dedicated person. She lived through a lot of hurt and pain. But God is an Awesome God. He told her well done my solder, you've fought a good fight now it's time to come home. Mrs. Beverly Taylor you will be forever engraved in our family hearts. We will miss you.
