Brandon Simmons peacefully entered his eternal rest on May 13, 2025, at the age of 35 in Atlanta Georgia. Born June 3, 1989, in Columbus Georgia to Ernest Simmons Sr. and Tyra King. Brandon touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. His presence brought joy to those around him and his memory will continue to inspire us all.
Homegrown in Phenix City, Alabama where he attended Central High School class of 2007. Brandon’s journey through life was marked by his passion for music. From an early age, the melodies and rhythms resonated deeply within him, shaping his aspirations and defining his path. As he grew, Brandons talent flourished. Though he faced many challenges in life, he never allowed them to define his spirit. Each obstacle became a stepping-stone, shaping his resilience and determination. His journey was not marked by ease, but by the strength he found within himself to keep moving forward. Through his perseverance, he inspired those around him, proving that one’s character is not determined by the difficulties faced but by the grace which they are overcome.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Rosa Mae Miles, his maternal grandmother Betty Jean Davis, and his aunt Linda Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and caring parents, Ernest Simmons Sr. and Tyra King, 3 brothers: Issac Butler, Kenneth Lewis, Ernest (Amanda) Simmons, 3 sisters: Amber (Jeremy) Miles, Ashley Simmons, Alexis (Cornard) Lias, Grandfather: Frank Lewis, 5 Aunts: Annie Simmons, Mary Simmons, Roberta Brown, Greta (Norbert)Sullivan, Persefiney (Al) Veasley. 11 nephews and nieces: Tanijya, Isaiah, Lil Issac, Messiah, Jorden, Jaslyn, Tristian, Jeremya, Kennedy, Jayce, and Ashtyn that he loved dearly; and a host of other relatives and friends.
