Obituary For Bruce Banks

Mr. Bruce Banks, 57, passed Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST, Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev Harrison Ford, officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsview, Alabama. Public viewing is from 3-5 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Mr. Bruce B. Banks, son of the late Clara Denson Banks and the late John Lee Banks Sr, was born on April 10 1966. He departed this earthly life at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, GA on Jan 25, 2024.

Bruce attended public school in Columbus, GA. He was a jack of all trades, mostly in the construction field.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie Banks, Dorothy Beasley, and Julia Grimes and one brother, Ulysses Banks.

He leaves to cherish with love and sincere spirit of gratitude, the fond memories of his life, five sisters, Teresa Banks, Barbara Gaines, Emma Banks all of Columbus, GA, Clara (Nathaniel) Ryles of Ft. Mitchell AL, Delorise (Claude) Wright of Lincolnton, GA, two brothers, John (Betty) Banks, Jr. and Willie (Angela) Banks all of Columbus, GA, one aunt, Ethel Rayzer of Columbus, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
