Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST (1:00 p.m. CST), Saturday, April 20, 2024 at First Missionary Baptist Church, Hurtsboro, AL with Rev. Troy Clark, pastor, officiating. Burial in First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2 - 5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Bryson L. Cochran was born September 1, 2006 to Gary Cochran and Makethia Davis-Cochran in Columbus, GA. He exchanged earthly life for eternal rest on Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
Bryson was educated in the Phenix City and Russell County School systems. He was a senior at Central High School. Bryson loved to play sports. Throughout his youth he ran track, played baseball, basketball, and football. He also loved to hunt and spend time with his family and friends. He was very well known within his community and he was a very respectful and loving person. He will truly be missed.
Bryson was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Markeith Cochran, paternal grandfather, Silver Upshaw, and maternal aunt Stacie Daniel. He leaves to cherish is memory his mother, Makethia Davis-Cochran (Phenix City, AL), father Gary Cochran (Phenix City, AL), sister Shalaia Davis (Columbus, Ga), brother Geontae Bryant (Fort Myers, FL), maternal grandparents William and Bernice Davis (Hurtsboro, AL), paternal grandmother Georgia Ann Cochran (Hurtsboro, AL), 3 uncles, 2 aunts, 3 great aunts, 3 great uncles, 1 niece, and a host of close family and friends.
To the family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Death is never easy, it's hard pill to swallow. But how comforting it is to know that we have the hope of the resurrection. We worked together. My favorite memory is when we had splat on fights at sonic, it was amazing. Even though it was hot, we still made it fun and made work so enjoyable. He was so nice and he had such a bright future ahead of him.
