Mr. Cary Crowell, 76, of Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Mr. Cary "Ross" Crowell was born May 30, 1946, in Hatchechubbee, AL. He was the son of the late Lucille (Crowell) King and the late Joseph King.
Cary "Ross" Crowell spent many years in Hatchechubbee and Seale, AL before relocating to Columbus, GA.
Cary "Uncle Ross" Crowell will be remembered as a quiet man. He was gentle in spirit and always tried to help others. His favorite words “Alright and ok.”
Uncle Ross was preceded in death by his wife, Glady (Williams) Crowell; mother, Lucille (Crowell) King; father, Joseph King; brothers, Walter L. Crowell, Johnnie Crowell, Otis King and Jerome King; niece, Freda (Crowell) Williams; sisters and other relatives and friends.
Uncle Ross leaves to cherish his memories a devoted niece, Deloise D. Crowell, Columbus, GA; devoted and loving caregiver great nephew, Cortese "Tron" Crowell; wife, La’quasha Crowell, Phenix City, AL who provided care and support to him. In uncle Ross words “Tron I am happy, I am with my family.”
Uncle Ross also leaves to cherish fond memories five nephews, Curtis V. Crowell, Columbus, GA, Flester (Jeraldine) Crowell, Seale, AL, Otis Steven King, Daron King, Derek King all of Phenix City, AL; two nieces, Shareeka King and Angela Johnson both of Phenix City, AL; six great nieces, Sharon (Orlando) Green, Jeli Dee Shepard, Virginia Williams, Antigani Williams, Rasheedah Shephard and Davina Blyden; five great nephews, Salathia Crowell, Curtis L. Crowell, Matthew Wilson, Jr., Latrovis Wilson and Devin Shephard.
They all made sure he was happy by adding a quantity supply to his stockpile of his favorite foods and favorite items to drink.
Cary (Ross) Crowell leaves a host of great- great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends.
In honoring and pursuant with the wishers of Cary "uncle Ross" Crowell there will not be a public viewing or a funeral. Announcement of a memorial service and final resting place for Cary "uncle Ross" Crowell will be upcoming from Deloise D. Crowell. Final disposition is cremation.
