Charles Hollowell, 77, of Phenix City, AL. passed on Saturday August 23, 2025 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Noble Williams, officiating. Interment to follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025 3 - 5 p.m. EST.
Charles Edward Hollowell was born to the union of Curtis A. Hollowell and Elnora Glenn Long on August 23, 1948, in Columbus, Georgia. He accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from South Girard School in 1965 and attended Talladega College, where he graduated with a BA degree in Biology/Chemistry. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, an Omega Man. He joined the Army in 1970 and served his country honorably. He was a commissioned 1st Lieutenant and a Vietnam Veteran.
During his career, he spent time as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, Automobile Sales Representative, Marketing Representative, Chemist, and Quality Engineer, retiring from UTC-Pratt-Whitney and Aflac Corporation. He had a love of photography and owned Faces Photography Studio.
He leaves to cherish his memories two beautiful daughters, Angela Hollowell and Charmise Hollowell, Phenix City, AL, his Aunt Stella (Homer-deceased) Abron, two nephews Michael and Daryl, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. His brother, Curtis (Hattie-deceased) Hollowell, preceded him in death.

Condolences to Hollowell Family, I would often stop by his house that he was so proud of and enjoy a little jazz on Sunday evening, after discovering we were close kin on the Green side we really enjoyed each other company
