Cheryl fought Breast Cancer and spent her last moments at Columbus Hospice surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor her memory by continuing to live their lives to the fullest in her absence. She grew up in a large loving family of four brothers five sisters of Phenix City, AL and two half-brothers of Detroit MI.
She graduated from Central High School with class of 1990. Home of the Red Devils is where she allowed her athletic light to shine in activities like basketball, softball, and track & field under Coach Charles Fortune. After high school, she furthered her education in business accounting at Troy University and the University of Phoenix.

Positions to follow were Cascade Hills Church for 10 years and Columbus Flooring and More for 5 years. She accepted her calling as minister in 2017 then progressed as Youth Pastor on 24th of June 2018, at True Vine Ministries, International. During her time in the ministry, she was introduced to her soulmate Pastor William Thomas where the two joined in matrimony under the Lord on October 13, 2019. Anyone who knew Cheryl knows that she loved the Lord and could sing about his love until the end of time. She would go to the Lord on behalf of you, with no hesitation. Cheryl was never shy to tell you the calling on your life in every encounter. She loved her family & friends and wanted the best for them. In her passing she wanted her loved ones to never have to worry and stop their lives. She said trust that the God we serve would be with her every step of the way.
