Chiquita S. Alexander, 40, of Columbus, GA passed on Friday, May 1, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Public visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Chiquita Shandrell Alexander (aka) Angel Braidzz was born in Columbus, GA on January 14, 1986 to Emma Jean Alexander and the late James Upshaw, Jr.
She was a stylist and the name of her business was Angel Braidzz, LLC.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dahlquist Alexander.
She is survived by two sons, Dahlquist Alexander, Guyile Williams, II, of Columbus, GA; two daughters, LaβTahvia Major and ShβQuirah Long, of Phenix City, AL; her mother, Emma Jean Alexander of Columbus, GA; her sister, Unique Alexander of Columbus, GA; four aunts, Donna (Charles) Simpson, of Columbus, GA, Betty Alexander, of Phenix City, AL, Della (Bobby) Murph, of Lehigh Acres, FL, Leola Upshaw, Columbus, GA; three uncles, Joseph Alexander, Jr., Earnest Upshaw both of Columbus, GA and Thomas Upshaw, of St. Louis, MO; niece and nephews, Terriyah, Terrence, Mason, Messiah Gosha and Deβchaun Wiggins all of Columbus, GA; long time companion, Earnest Johnson, the father of her children, Guyile Williams; a host of cousins, friends and clients.
