Ms. Christie Deneshia Floyd, 49, of Columbus, GA passed on Wednesday, October 7,2020 in Atlanta, GA.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery, Marvyn, AL with Rev. Ronald Golden, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 2-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Ms. Floyd was born August 21, 1971 to Rev. Earnestine T. Floyd of Columbus, GA. During her childhood, she certainly enjoyed playing with her cousins and singing. Her favorite food was cheese. She confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Marvyn, AL at an early age. She was a 1989 graduate of Hardaway High School, Columbus, GA. Upon graduating from high school, she pursued her certification in the field of Cosmetology and later attended the school of Phlebotomy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, an aunt, Connie Guy, two uncles, Lane G. Taylor and Danny Taylor.
These continuous priceless memories will be adored by her mother, Rev. Earnestine Taylor Floyd, Columbus, GA; aunt, Eloise T. Baker, uncle, William Baker, great aunt, Inell Grover, Columbus, GA; a devoted friend, Joe Hudson, Columbus, GA and several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ernestine you was a great mom and I know it hurts, but we will see her again. You and I must rest in the comfort of God that He gives to those who love Him. Chris was my niece by marriage to her aunt Eloise and my cousin because her Father William Floyd was my first cousin.You was also like a daughter to me.Chris I find how much you love and trust in the Lord this last year and it brought joy to my heart,knowing that I will see you in heaven with God and all Him children Uncle Sonny will miss you, but every time I see some cheese and a sports car I will think of you because that was two other things that you love.
