Mr. Christopher Vincent Brown Jackson, 48, of Indianapolis, IN passed Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, June 3,2023 at Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Raymond Swatford and Rev. Avelyn Sanders-Swatford, Co-pastors, and Rev. Ike Richardson, eulogist.
To Chris' family Chris was a shining light and colleague in the Baltimore community during his time at Johns Hopkins. May he now share and be radiant in the Resurrection of Christ forever...see you in heaven one day my Bro!

I remember when I first met Chris. His basement had flooded, n he was losing his mind πLol. N if u no Chris u no how he is wen something goes wrong. I cleans it up for him . N from that day on we had a beautiful sensational, spectacular, marvelous, friendship. My daughter Asia called him uncal Chris when she wanted something half the time. πππ When Chris found out that I was a single parent. I had his luv n support, and his undivided attention when I needed to vent or needed someone to talk to. Chris was always there for me and Asia. Chris was n still is my best friend. We never know the twists and turns of life, where they will take us. So we hold onto our faith. I was deeply saddened to hear of the earthly transition of "Rev" Chris Brown. Yet I am rejoicing that his soul is at peace. I will treasure the time, memories, and wisdom he gave to me as a friend and colleague in ACPE the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education.
