Mr. Clanton L. Rudolph, Jr., 51, of Phenix City, AL passed Monday, February 7, 2022 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Friday, February 18, 2022 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Apostle Senordor M. Hines, officiating. Interment will follow in the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Mr. Rudolph, Jr. was born on July 6, 1970 to the Clanton Leon Rudolph, Sr. and Mattie Jean Rudolph Thomas who resides in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a member of New Life House of Prayer where he was a new Usher In Training and served in the hospitality ministry and Men’s Ministry.
Clanton is an Alumni of Sidney Lanier High School Class of 1989. He retired from the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant in 2016 after valiantly serving 26 1/2 years.
He was married to his beautiful wife Trudy Rudolph for 31 years and they lived in Phenix City, Alabama. He has three beautiful children, Brea Straughn and Hope Rudolph both of Montgomery, AL and Faith Rudolph of Phenix City, AL whom he loved dearly; two siblings, Natasha (Tony) Renee Rudolph-Flowers and Frederick Rudolph both of Montgomery, AL.
He leaves behind his lifelong friends and Battle Buddies, Wendell Conley, Rolando Love, Lonnie Russell, James “Smitty” Smitherman and Raymond Stokes; godchildren, Lanasha (Donnie) Edwards, Valniecia Hines, Brooklyn Smith and London Gamble. He also leaves to cherish his memories cousins and a host of friends that his life touched tremendously.
The holiday seasons just aren't the same without you. I'm missing my dollar cards for my birthday and hiding the real gift in your trunk. I can't really pull myself to go to Ft. Rudolph the last time we spoke it was about our daughter, Alexis Rudolph.. She has done greater things since your passing. Truly she is deeply hurt in finding this news about your passing today 7/13/22. Just maybe God will bring her peace. She and I tried reaching out to you but no luck. We dearly miss you!!
