Mr. Climmie L. Brundidge, 84, of Hurtsboro, AL passed Monday, November 6, 2023 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST (12 noon CST), Monday, November 20, 2023 at Andrews Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Hurtsboro, AL with Rev. Renae Adams, pastor, officiating, Rev. Pryce Battle, eulogist. Burial to follow in church cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. EST.

Mr. Climmie L. Brundidge was born to the late Johnny an Lucinda Brundidge in Russell County, AL. He confessed Jesus Christ as Savior at an early age and joined Andrew Chapel AME Zion Church. He later joined Good Hope Church at Smith Station where he was a faithful member until his health failed. Brother Brundidge was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Jean and his wife Elvira Brundidge. He leaves to cherish his precious memories two sons, Climmie L. (Betty) Brundidge, Jr (Kuwait), and Wendell (Maribeth) Brundidge (Columbus, GA); six brothers, Wardell (Georgia) Brundidge, Columbus,GA ; Jimmie (Catherine) Brundidge, Hatchechubbee, AL; O.B. (Ester) Brundidge, Fort Mitchell, AL; Arthur (Vernoda) Brundidge, Hurtsboro, AL; Robert (Margie) Brundidge, Hurtsboro, AL; Gary Brundidge, Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Ethel (George) King, Phenix City, AL; and Lucretia (Eddie) Thomas, Hurtsboro, AL; and a host of grand children and great grandchildren; one aunt, Minnie Lee Brundidge, Seale, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

We worked in the mill together. he was a very nice individual. he certainly will be missed. our condolences to the family. the loss of a loved one brings great sadness. may you find comfort and tender mercies. Grandaddy, words can't describe the pain I feel knowing I want be able to see you again in the physical realm. But I know that you are at peace now. I'm so thankful I was able to spend time with you on last Wednesday. Although I didn't know it would be our last time together. It's a moment I hold dear to my heart.
