Mr. Darrie Miles Sr., 60, affectionally known as Darryl entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Tuskegee, AL.
He was born December 7, 1965, in Macon County, AL to the late Dennis Miles and Arma Lee Pitts Miles.
Darrie attended Sandford High School in Opelika, AL. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age.
Everyone in the family as well as the surrounding area knew Darrie as a true outdoorsman. His love for fishing, hunting, gardening, horseback riding, four wheelers and family gatherings was where he found pleasure. The only thing in his life that superseded these events was the joy that he found in
spending time with his grandson "Tytan". Ty put a smile on his face that Darrie Jr. couldn't match.
Darrie was preceded in death by both parents, five brothers and one sister.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Argentina Miles; two sons, Darrie Miles, Jr. and Brian Harris who he raised as his own; three sisters, Rita (Dudley) Barnett, Dorothy (Eddie) Richmond and Joann Richmond; one brother-in-law, William Crowell; two aunts, Emma Miles and Hattie Pitts; one grandson, Tytan Miles, who was his pride and joy. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Send flowers to the service of Darrie Lee Miles, Sr.

Condolences to the family of Darrie. We go way back, growing up in Marvyn and playing hoops together at Sanford and working summers together in the CETA program. Darrie was always full of fun and a smile. Sad to hear of his death. Fly high, brother.ππ½
