I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. “2 Timothy 4: 7-8
We believe every life has a story that deserves to be told and preserved. Life, like each seasons, has a beauty of its own. They sprout, they blossom, then they are gone.
Kenneth Neal Miles, affectionately called Ken-Neal or Lawyer, was born on March 1, 1955 to the proud parents of the late Petronia Morris Miles and the late Robert L. Miles, Jr. in Pittsview, Alabama. Ken-Neal was the oldest of five children born to this union.
At an early age, Lawyer accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and joined Antioch Baptist Church, where he remained an active member until his health failed. He also was a Mason through a retired Lodge in Pittsview.
Kenneth graduated from Chavala High School and continued his education by attending Wallace (Sparks) Community College in Eufaula, AL. He then started his career at John Deere, where he received further training to become an outstanding diesel mechanic.
