Mrs. Deloris Roberts was a loving and caring person, and a caretaker that took care of her love ones when she was sick herself. Deloris was born on July 10, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan by her loving mother Oralean Harris Jackson and her loving step father Felton Jackson who preceded her in death. Deloris was a hard worker; she retired as the District Manager for Krystal Fast Food Chain. Deloris always wore a smile and loved being around family and friends laughing and having fun. She will be missed by all who loved her and loved being around her.
On the morning of September 27, 2023 God called her home. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Oralean Harris Jackson and her loving step-father, Felton Jackson.
Deloris leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Douglas Roberts, two sons, Douglas Roberts, Jr. of Sacramento, CA and Derrick Roberts (Sena) of Snellville, GA; 11 grandchildren, Tujanna Washington, Sancoya Roberts, Natashia Davis, Desmond Roberts, Ashanta Roberts, Jayla Roberts, Markenya Roberts, Wesley Roberts, Daphne Roberts, Doriana Roberts and Doriena Roberts; seven great grandchildren; one sibling, Vivian Talley (John) of Las Vegas, NV; two devoted sisters-in-law, Earnestine Roberts and Barbara Roberts; one aunt, Eva Newberry of Park Forrest, IL; one devoted nephew, Mikeleon Marshall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Deloris Roberts. Deloris had a very pleasing disposition and consistently displayed the fruits of the spirit given in Galatians 6: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. May the love and support of family and friends, bring the Roberts' family comfort and strength at this difficult time. Mary Ann Marshall
