A Time To Be Born: On December 26, 1942, God blessed Rev. Douglas Howard, Sr. and Mary Anna Day Howard with their first child, a loving son, Douglas Howard, Jr.

A Time To Grow: Douglas was educated in the public school system of Russell County. After graduating high school, Doug worked a few jobs before gaining employment with Westrock. A Time To Serve: Brother Howard joined Uchee Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was active in his church until his health declined.

A Time To Depart: Early Friday morning, February 16, 2024, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ dispatched His angels to bring home to Him the soul of his faithful servant. Doug’s parents and brother, Lewis Howard preceded him in death.

A Time To Remember: Precious memories will always be cherished by a devoted wife of 60 years, Elma Louise Howard; a loving daughter, Alethea Celeste Howard.
