Dr. Leonard Boyd, Jr., 78, of Phenix City, AL passed on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 9:00 a.m. EST Friday, May 29, 2026 at Body of Christ Church International, 2207 28th Street, Phenix City, AL with Apostle G. Keith Blue, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public viewing will be held 1 - 5 p.m. EST, Thursday, May 28, 2026.

I am very ad of hear of Dr. Boyd passing. I met him at 24th Street Baptist Church on 24th Street in Columbus. I also know him as a worker at New Horizons . He will be missed.

I had the honor of working with Mr . Boyd in the Mental Health field. He was always so kind, considerate, as well as knowledgeable and reliable. Well done is sure to be heard by this faithful witness.
