Obituary For Edward Rose

Mr. Edward Rose, 58, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, June 3, 2019. Funeral service will be Monday, June 10, 2019 in the C.T Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. James Q. Smith, officiating.

Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1-8 p.m. EST.

Mr. Edward Lee Rose, 58 of Columbus Georgia passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. Mr. Rose was born on November 25, 1960 in Columbus Georgia to the late Dasie Mae Rose and Jolly Phelps. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army and served as a Telecommunications Specialist. After military service he worked as a Screen Print Technician at Just Us Apparel until his retirement. Edward was known to be kind hearted and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed making others laugh and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dasie Mae Rose.

He leaves to cherish his memories four loving sisters: Julia Burchett (Jonesboro, Georgia), Jennifer Rose (Perry, Georgia) Wanda Faye Raiford (Columbus, Georgia) Maxine and Genoris Harris (Suffolk, Virginia); three devoted brothers: Randy Rose (Columbus, Georgia) Terry Rose (Ellenwood, Georgia) Curtis Rose (Jacksonville, Florida); and a host of other relatives and friends who all loved him dearly.
