Elnora H. Johnson, 72, passed on Friday, February 13, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Johnnie Nelms, officiating. Burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Public viewing is 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Elnora was born in Fort Mitchell, AL to the late Rosie Lee Holloway and Peter James Holloway, Sr. on September 5, 1953. She departed this earthly life on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Elnora lived a life rooted in love, strength and devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and the lasting impact she had on those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie B. Johnson and daughter, Elisha Johnson.
She retired from LNS services in Ft. Benning, GA (30+years). She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Fort Mitchell, AL
She leaves to cherish her memories, brother, Willie Holloway of Phenix City, AL; sisters, Brenda Holloway of Columbus, GA and Patricia Upshaw of Phenix City, AL; a host of nieces, nephews; special friends, Brady Crawford, Brenda Bassett, and Charlene Hartman.

I will never forget the day I met you Elnora. You had such a sense of humor and the biggest smile. We never had a dull moment with you around. Your birthday party was so much fun watching you and the girls eat catfish. I will never forget you telling me shhhh I got this over here. My girls love you very much and you will be dearly missed by us all. I love you my friend until we meet on the other side. I can hear you now telling me you love me more!
