Obituary For Felicia Hatcher
Ms. Felicia Hatcher, 54, of Columbus, GA passed on Thursday, June 25, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Brown, officiating.
Ms. Felicia Hatcher was born February 3rd, 1972, in Columbus, GA to Evelyn Forte and the late Andrew Johnson. The Lord called her home on June 25th, 2026.
Felicia grew up in Columbus, GA but was also heavily brought up in Eufaula, AL with a host of close relatives. She graduated from Kendrick High School. Felicia was devoted to making an earning for herself and her children by being a professional business owner.
Felicia accepted Christ at an early age while being a member at Gaines Chapel AME Church. She also attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church as a younger adult.
Felicia was a firecracker. She had the type of personality that any and everyone could fall in love with. Felicia was a loving mother, daughter, family member, and friend. She enjoyed shopping, family gatherings, spending time with her furbaby Goldie, and relaxing. But most importantly she enjoyed being a faithful mother and daughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Johnson; her grandmother, Rachel Thomas; grandfather; Moses Thomas, uncles; Elijah (Lee) Thomas and Herman Thomas; aunts, Betty Jones and Marilyn Thomas; and brother Hernadez Wilson.
Felicia leaves to mourn, her loving two sons, Dominique Hatcher and Carlo Hatcher; her mother Evelyn (Larry) Forte, her siblings; Terry (Tequesta) Upshaw, Christopher (Mary) Upshaw, and Charles Miller. She also leaves to mourn her loving friend, Mrs. Wendy Montgomery and Jennifer Harris in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, beloved family and friends.

Met Felicia about 2000, we use to have sum good times together. She was the life of any gathering, knew how to enjoy herself without the drama. I'm very saddened about her passing as any other person who is close, I pray for her family and loved ones and ask that God gives them strength to deal with her passing. π
