Mr. Frankie Davis, 74, passed on April 19, 2024 in Snellsville, GA.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. EST in the C.T. Chapel at Taylor Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public viewing is from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
Frankie Lane Davis was born December 31, 1949, to the late Aaron Davis of Columbus, GA, and the late Corrie C. Davis. He graduated from Carver High School, Columbus, GA in 1969. Frankie served his country in the United States Air Force with honor and served in the Vietnam War as well.
Frankie married a devoted wife, Dorothy Warren, and from this marriage one son was born, Frankie Davis, Jr.
Frankie worked with Atlanta Fire Department for several years and later retired from the VA Hospital after 23 years of service. After retirement, he continuously read the bible with deep conversations expressing his faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Davis and Corrie C. Davis.
He leaves behind his wife, Dorothy Warren; two sons, Frankie Davis, Jr. and Nicholas Walker; sister, Jeanette Harris and a host of aunts, cousins and friends, which also includes a devoted caregiver and friend, Sarah Adams.

The Robinson Family gives our deepest sympathies to Jeanette and family. We broke bread with Lane many times during our Davis Family Reunions and family visits to Georgia. Frankie "D" was like another father to us and we are so glad that we were able to share several gatherings, Thanksgivings, and Christmas with him throughout the years.
