Mr. Freddie Glenn, 83, of Phenix City, AL. passed away July 16th, 2025 in Phenix City, AL.
Public viewing will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Taylor Funeral Home.
Mr. Freddie Glenn, affectionately known as “Big Glenn” to his family and friends, entered eternal rest at his home in Phenix city Alabama on July 11, 2025.
Freddie was born on May 11, 1942, in Ft. Mitchell Alabama, the son of Richard Glenn and Emma Louise (Munns) Glenn.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Richard Glenn; his mother, Emma Louise Glenn, his daughter, Marlo Williams; one son-in-law, Anthony Williams; his brother, Joe Glenn; his three sisters, Marguerite Brooks, Mary Daughtry, and Annie Perl Glenn; two brothers-in-law, Bodditt Brooks and Shevette Daughtry.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife Dorothy Mae Glenn of Phenix City, Alabama, three sons, Michael Glenn of Columbus, Georgia, Daren Glenn, Willie Hinton (Monique) of Phenix City, Alabama, a daughter, Melissa Singleton (Joe) of Crawford, Alabama, one aunt Stella Averret of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama, three best friends, JC Chadwick, John Spivey (Debroah) David Hill (Myra) and a host of nieces nephews and grandkids, relatives and Friends.
