Ida Day, 74, of Columbus, GA passed on December 18, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Public viewing is 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, December 26, 2025.
Ms. Ida Mae Day was born October 15, 1951 in Ft. Mitchell, AL to Hockles Holloway and Sarah James. She was one of five children. She was preceded preceded in death by three sons, Eddie C. Miles, John C. Miles and Frederick Miles; two brothers, James (Big Jimmy) Holloway and Hockles Holloway, Jr. (Uncle Fat); two sisters, Mattie James and Louise (Lou) Watkins all of Fort Mitchell, AL.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Bernice (Clifford, Jr.) Austin of Columbus, GA; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
