I accepted Jack Jack as my bonus son, his energy always sparked the room no matter what to see his smile and the many accomplishments put a smile on my face, I tell him every time he visits I'm proud of you son. Jacari and my son shared a special friendship. There are no words that can truly bring comfort during such a difficult time, but please know that our hearts are with you. Jacarie came into my life around 2020/2021. My son Q might've known him before then, but that was the time I started hearing his name a lot—and before I knew it, after they graduated in 2021, he was glued to my house and my life.

From then on, Jacarie and Q were inseparable. My family grew to see Jacarie as one of our own. He went on family trips with us, came to family events, and just blended right in. Even when they both went off to Nebraska for that short college stint, when they came back, the bond never broke. By May 2023, they came to me and my sister with a plan to move out on their own with a few others in Acworth, GA—and from then on, Jacarie was still like family, always right there with Q. My sister even called him her son. That's how much we loved him.

Over these last 2 ½ years in Acworth, we were so proud of the milestones he hit—getting his credit together, buying his first car (and being so proud of it), staying on his job, paying his rent steady, and just really growing as a young man.

The Jacarie I knew was sweet, respectful, humble, and vulnerable in the best way. And one thing was clear—he loved Q, and Q loved him right back.

We really loved Jacarie, and we are truly going to miss him. Rest easy, son. 💔
