Mr. James Kary Allen, 67, of Phenix City, AL passed Monday, September 18, 2023 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am EST, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Greater St. John Baptist Church Crawford, AL with Rev. Christopher Davis, pastor anMr. James Kary Allen was born July d Dr. Alphonso Thomas, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. EST.

Mr. James Kary Allen was born July 29, 1956 in Russell County Alabama to the late Carey Allen & Dorothy Nell Hood Allen. He attended public school in Russell County, AL. He also worked many years as. atextile Weaver at Fieldcrest Mills in Columbus, GA.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Craig (Kimberly) Allen and Kelcey (Lametta) Allen;one daughter, Katina Byrd of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren, Omri Allen, Houston, TX, Kelcey Allen, Jr. Tyrell Smith, Jarrell Ravenell, Ashanti Byrd, Aliandra Byrd and Amani Byrd all of Colubus, GA; five brothers, Eddie (Paula) Allen, Michael (Michelle) Allen, Cephas (Mellowne) Allen, Calvin Allen, Orlando, FL and Aphonso (Martha) Allen, Phenix City, AL; four sisters, Margurett Brooks, Sarah Allen, Earnestine Eiland all of Phenix City, AL and Delores Allen, Loganville, GA; a special cousin, our other brother, Rufus Holland; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
