Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. EST, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Green Acres Cemetery with Chaplain Kenneth Wilcox, officiating. No public viewing.

SSG (Ret.) James R. Aspey, born December 22, 1954, peacefully transitioned at home on February 3, 2024, as he departed this life for the next. He is survived but his loving wife, Dorothy Apsey.

Having dedicated 20 years to the military, SSG (Ret.) James R. Apsey continued to serve his community after retirement, working at MWR. He was a man of unwavering dedication and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

Beyond his professional life, James was a man of many outdoor hobbies, finding joy in the simplicity of nature. He had a passion for hunting and spent many cherished moments in the great outdoors. His favorite dish was mac and cheese, and he loved a variety of music.

Above all, James was a devoted family man, his love and passion touching the lives of those around him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his beloved family & friends.
