God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyes, and whispered, "Peace Be Thine".
Mr. James Wiggins entered this earthly life on July 18,1948, in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Elease Wiggins and Ephriam Kendrick. His home in glory is now fashioned and adorned with his service to others and his prayers for many.
James (affectionately known as 'Jay Baby'), relished 'sitting on the dock of the bay and casting a line'. Fishing was a favorite hobby. Those who knew him well, knew that he loved a challenging game of chess and delighted in "teaching you a lesson on the tennis court".
God, in His abiding love, called His servant home to a well deserved and well earned peaceful rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Memories of his dynamic life will be held dearly by his loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Beverly Mitchell-Wiggins; two loving daughters, Angel Wiggins-Neal of Phenix City, Alabama and Latarsha (Reginald) Jenkins of Los Angeles, California; three sisters, Lizzie (Clarence) Todd, Katherine Sparks both of Phenix City, Alabama and Maime (Richard) Arline of China Grove, North Carolina.
Cherished memories of his sensitive, caring nature and wonderful sense of humor will be held by a loving niece and nephew, Voncile Kalpen and Alan Sparks both of Phenix City, Alabama; five grandchildren, Jason Westberry of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Serenity Walton of Phenix City, Alabama, Tierra Jenkins of Houston, TX, Jamar Sheppard and Walter Huling, both of Columbus, Georgia.
Also holding a lifetime of precious memories within their hearts are three dear friends, Bray Ellis of Phenix City, Alabama, Johnny Floyd of Opelika, Alabama, Michael George Dixon of Columbus, Georgia and a host of valued relatives and friends.
Will continue to lift the family in prayer.victoria griffin and family

After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared with James who has passed, this is what keeps him alive in our hearts in our minds, and he will continue to live on, through us. Someone so special can never be forgotten. May God put him in a special place where he will be watching us, the people who loved and cherished him! George, Clyde, and family
