My dear 1st cousin, just a few weeks ago I got lay my eyes on you for the last time. Seeing you in September 2024 when my mother and I visited and then again just 2 weeks ago gave me an opportunity to hold a few of the longest conversations we've held since our teenage years. Thank you God for allowing me one last opportunity to hug him and brag on his beautiful skin. To learn that that James gained his wings cracked my already broken heart but I am so thankful that he stepped out of his comfort zone and spent some time with me. Even through is social isolation he remembered my mom and I by name and that meant the world to me. I will forever cherish our last visit because he took the time when others did not. Rest in Peace cousin you are now free.
My deepest sympathy ans condolences to the family. May God continue to provide the comfort you all will need in the days ahead. ๐๐ผ๐
