Jean Louise Wimberly, 82, of Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Evergreen Memorial Park located at 4500 St. Marys Rd, Columbus, GA with Pastor Donovan Coley, officiating. There will be no public viewing.
Jean Louise Harris Wimberly transitioned January 29, 2025 peacefully to the arms of our Lord and Savior.
She was born on November 22,1942 in Smith Station, AL to Robert and Evelyn Harris. She was one of nine children.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Perry Harris, Calvin Harris, Idaho Mae Bynum and Wayne Harris and her son Kenneth Lee Wimberly.
Jean was a loving mother and grandmother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children,Tracy Wimberly-Black (Jimmy), Patrick Wimberly (Kimberly) and LaTanya Ivory (Tyrone); her siblings, Fred Harris, Sally Harris, Alice Weeks, and Janice McCoy. She leaves behind her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Death is never easy, and it hurts so bad. Jesus even wept when his friend Lazarus died. Rev 21:3,4 helps us to see that there is a future and a hope.
