Mr. Jessie James Crowell, 64, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, April 7, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Monday, April 14, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Printes Brown, Sr., officiating. Public visitation is 2:00 to 5:00 p.m EST, Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Mr. Jessie James Crowell was born July 22, 1960 in Seale, AL to the late Lucious and the late Mary Jane Crowell, Sr. He retired in 2022 from Swift Spinning Mills after more than 20 years of service.

Mr. Crowell was a huge football fan with the Alabama Crimson Tide being his favorite team. He enjoyed barbecuing and talking with his niece daily. His favorite retirement days included time with grandson, Zachary Lewis; granddaughters, Mariah Crowell, Bre'Niya Crowell, Micah Crowell, Malaya Crowell and Miah Crowell as they called for their “PawPaw.”

On April 7, 2025, the Lord called him to eternal rest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lazarus Lindon Crowell, Willie James Crowell, Lucious Crowell, II, Pastor Erbie L. Crowell, Sr.; sister, Mary Allen and daughter, Monek Crowell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife of four years, Falichia Crowell; daughter, Jessica (Mykel) Mckvian; step children, Ciera Williams, Antwon Williams, Eddie Cochran and JoBienna Wilson; 25 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Johnny (Katie) Crowell; sisters, Flora Crowell and Min. Princess (Eddie) Williams; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
