Jimmie Lee Gosha, 85, of Columbus, GA, passed on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST. Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Green Acres Cemetery.

Jimmie Lee Gosha was born and raised on October 25, 1940 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Nathaniel Gosha, Jr. and the late Eva Lewis Gosha. He was educated in the Phenix City School System.

He accepted Christ and was baptized in 2005 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jimmie departed his earthly life on September 2, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Gosha, Jr. and Eva Lewis Gosha; his brother, Nathaniel Gosha, III; and his sister, Martha Gosha Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Margaret G. Austin, and Brenda Jones; a devoted and special friend, Shirley Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. They will forever cherish the love, faith, kindness, and memories he shared throughout his life.

Through he is no longer with us, Jimmie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life was a gift, his presence will be missed, and his legacy will remain with those he leaves behind.
