Mr. Joel Lee Alexander, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Phenix City, AL.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST Monday October 4, 2021 at the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev.Willie Lyles, officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Mr.Joel Lee Alexander was born on December 8,1958 in Phenix City Alabama to the late Charlie Alexander,Sr. and the late Ruth Gary Alexander.
Joe Lee as he was affectionately called confessed Christ at an early age. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E Church in Phenix City, AL. where he was a former member of the choir. After graduating from Mount Olive High School in 1977 he enlisted and served in the US Army.
Joe Lee was preceded in death by his parents,Charlie,Sr. and Ruth Alexander; his brother, Michael Alexander and his wife Catherine Washington Alexander.
Survivors include his son, Corinthians (Jessica) Washington; five brothers, James (Peggy) Gary, Charlie (Kokese) Alexander Jr.,Willie (Anna) Alexander, Robert (Jackie) Alexander, Curtis Alexander; six sisters, Dorothy (Fred) Glenn,Judy (Bob) Farley, Bernice Alexander Jenkins, Teresa (Melvin) Floyd, Lisa (Ervin) Jackson and Belinda (Johnny) Robinson; special nice, Deborah Jones; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
