Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. James McGruder, officiating. Public viewing is 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

John Henry Henderson, 86, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1938, in Fort Mitchell, AL to the late Lorene Harmon and John H. Henderson, Sr.

John proudly served his country as an army veteran. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he carried the values of honor, duty, and service throughout his life. As the third of eight siblings, John deeply cherished family bonds and always prioritized the well-being of his loved ones.

He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit, generosity, and warmth left an indelible mark on those fortunate to have crossed his path. John's legacy is one of love, resilience, and selflessness, and he will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
