Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Pine Hill Baptist Church located at 337 10th Ave S, Phenix City, AL with Rev. J.C. Fryer, pastor, officiating. Burial in Edmonds Cemetery. Public viewing is 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m EST on Friday, December 20, 2024.
Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jenkins born August 9, 1932 in Cottonton,AL to the late David Henry & Mettie Bell Lockhart.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Pine HIll Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. BJ Brown. She was humble, sweet, giving, loveable, a great cook, fun person, and loved people.
She leaves to cherish her memories,a sister Rossetta Demming, two sons, Sylvester (Audrey) Jenkins Jr., Curtis (Charleane) Jenkins;one daughter, Mary Earnestine (Charles) Gordon; bonus daughters, Vera Jenkins, Rhonda (Preston) Robinson and three sisters, Robin Henry, Dora Lane, and Flora Calhoun.
