Mr. Justin D. Bowden, 29, of Indianapolis, IN passed Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon EST, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. J.C. Fryer, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Phenix City, AL. There will be no public visitation.
Justin Devon “JD” Bowden started his journey of life on January 5, 1993 in Columbus, Georgia to Gregory L. Lyles and Gloria R. Bowden.
He was educated in the Russell County School System and graduated from Pike High School in in 2011. He confessed Christ under the leadership of Rev. F.F. Andrews of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
JD was the sole proprietor of Peppershaker Kennel in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had a love for dogs and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Bernice Lyles; maternal grandfather, Herman “Peppershaker” Bowden and uncle, Eddie Jones.
He leaves to continue this journey his son, Justin Devon Bowden, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; loving parents, Gregory L. Lyles and Gloria R. Bowden both of Phenix City, Alabama; three brothers, Savonte Brown of Phenix City, Alabama, Gregory P.L. Lyles, Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia and Bryson M. Lyles of Songtan, South Korea; grandfather, Lee Andrew Lewis of Phenix City, Alabama; loving and devoted grandmother, Catherine L. Bowden of Phenix City, Alabama; three uncles, three aunts and a host of other cousins, family members and friends. “No matter how smooth or rough the day God is with you every step of the way”

Jaydee From the first day we meet each other we was unbreakable. We was together for 5 years everyday and every night. We use to sit and talk for hours and hours I'm going to miss you walking around the house rapping and dancing for me lol. Baby You was my soulmate and I kno I was yours..
